There are plenty of things to do during your stay at the barn.
Right on the property, you will often see deer, turkeys, and other local wildlife. It is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Guests can relax on the deck or patio while sharing a meal. The barn includes a full kitchen, and there is also a fire pit and picnic table that are great for small gatherings and evenings outdoors.
Stone Mountain State Park is only five minutes away. Visitors can enjoy trout fishing, picnicking, and hiking. For those who enjoy a challenge, hiking to the top of the rock offers incredible views and a memorable experience.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is also close by. It is well known for its scenic drives, hiking trails, and picnic spots. Many visitors simply enjoy the beautiful mountain views while driving along the parkway.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Chatham Game Lands is nearby as well. During the proper seasons, visitors can hunt deer and turkey in this area.
The charming mountain towns of Boone and Blowing Rock are about an hour away. These towns are popular for their local shops, restaurants, and winter skiing.
Kerr Scott Lake is just 40 minutes from the barn. The lake is a great place for fishing, especially for crappie and largemouth bass.
Golfers will also find several courses in the area. One of the newest courses, Contentment, is located just five minutes from the barn.
